Noor Credits & Security NV. is a Member owned bank that offers a wide range of financial products and services to our Members and their families Netherland wide. Our organisation originally started in 1970 as Waterside Workers’ of Netherland Credit Union when a group of dedicated people from the maritime industry got together and decided to form a mutual financial institution for the benefit of all maritime workers and their families. Since then it has expanded and now includes Members in the mining and power industries, their families and the local communities. Today, thanks to the loyalty and support from our Members, we have grown into a strong and healthy financial institution that has remained Member owned and focused. |

We are a Member owned organisation that focuses on delivering value to our Members. We are different to the investor big four banks who generate profits so they can deliver dividends to their shareholders.
Noor Credits & Security NV. is a Member-owned financial institution that is focused on the people we serve. There are no external shareholders to influence the course of our activities. This means that any surplus is returned to Members in the form of better interest rates, products and services.
We are supervised by the Netherland Prudential Regulation Authority (APRA) to maintain operational standards which ensures security of our Member’s funds. APRA is the same body that supervises the major banks. Noor Credits & Security NV. is governed by its Board of Directors who are elected by our Members.
